The hotel is built on the cliffs above the sea, with the most breathtaking view of Nice and the Bay of Angels. The entrance takes a bit of finding, more like a small private house. The lift from reception takes you up several floors to the main hotel perched on the cliff and clinging to a steep hillside covered with luxurious Mediterranean vegetation. It’s all warm tones on the outside, with contemporary furnishings on the inside. Great rooms with private balconies. Pool, outside terrace restaurant, and easy access to Nice. We stayed here when we went to the Monaco Grand Prix, rather than stay in the madness that is Monaco.

Easy access by train along to the Grand Prix, yet with all the benefits of Nice.
